Merging two existing local EndNote libraries

The Library recommends using a single EndNote library for all your references, and adding extra groups or group sets for specific projects or subsets of references.

However, if you wish to merge two EndNote libraries, open the EndNote library you wish to make your main library.

1. File menu > Import > File.

2. Select EndNote Library as the Import Option and click Choose to browse to select the file you wish to merge into the current library.

3. Click Import.
