What is EndNote?

EndNote is a bibliographic management system.

What does that mean? You can:

• download references to EndNote from bibliographic databases, library catalogues, and other sources
• use EndNote to insert correctly formatted references into your own documents
• organise and manage your references, including annotating PDF documents attached to references
• synchronise your references between your work and personal computers
• share references with your research team, supervisor, etc

Other referencing tools exist (Mendeley, RefME, BibTex, etc) but the Library currently only supports EndNote
