Copyright and your thesis

Copyright management should be part of your thesis writing process. This ensures that when it comes time to submit and publish your thesis, it is copyright-law compliant.

Arranging permission to use copyright material can take time, so start early by looking at the thesis copyright toolkit. Copyright law can apply to images, quotations, or data that is created and/or owned by a third party (i.e., not you).
