About this guide

This section of the research guide is designed to support Federation researchers, and research students, undertaking projects that involve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, peoples or communities to embed ethically and culturally safe practices at all stages of the research journey. To aid in this we have collated key documentation and standards created by and in consultation with Indigenous researchers to address:

- Ethics and research considerations

- Indigenous research methodologies

- Indigenous research data consideration

- Citing and referencing Indigenous Knowledges

The Library welcomes any input to improve this guide. To provide feedback contact your liaison librarian or email us at libinfo@federation.edu.au
