Write your own textbook from scratch, or update and reformat open texts by others.

The Library can guide you through the process - from planning through peer review to publishing -  connect you with a community of practice of authors from other Australian Universities, and connect you with potential funding opportunities.

Federation University Library is participating in the CAUL OER Collective project, which aims to produce OER Textbooks from Federation University academic authors and publish on Pressbooks platform.

The University supports open textbooks in curriculum and the benefits flow to academic authors, their students, and the wider world.

If you have an idea for a textbook contact us or apply through the Expression of Interest form below. No time limits for proposals, though if you are intending to apply  for CAUL Grant funding that has a deadline.
