Reviewing the literature

Screening

The results of the search are screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Duplicates First, duplicate articles are removed from the results using EndNote or Covidence. Title and abstract Then, the titles and abstracts are screened to remove any that clearly do not meet the inclusion criteria. Full text Finally, the full text of the remaining articles are assessed against the inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Resource Sharing Services can help find full text versions of articles Federation University does not have access to.

The remaining articles will be those included in the review.

It is recommended that more than one reviewer screens articles to reduce the risk of bias.

The PRISMA flow diagram documents how the included articles were chosen. If Covidence is used for screening, this is created automatically.

Open Education Resource

For more information, the following PDF is the draft of an Open Education Resource currently under revision. The videos and activities are unavailable until the OER is published online.
