Overview of how reference references move through a review

The flow chart below outlines where a particular study will be depending on the votes it has received.

All voting is blinded, therefore your colleagues cannot see your votes until they have voted themselves, and vice versa.

Dual-reviewer mode is active by default. This means that two votes are required to advance the reference to the next stage. If you have cast your vote, the study will move to your Awaiting other reviewer screen. Once the study has received another vote, it will advance according to its votes.

For example, a study in the screening stage has received one Yes vote and one Maybe vote, it will move to Resolve conflicts

Note that if you switch to single-reviewer mode, only one vote is required to advance the reference to the next stage.
