Team settings

Find Team settings under Settings. Here you can monitor your team members' contributions and the overall team progress.

Rules

You can define rules to the screening and extraction stages.

Step 1: On the Team Settings page scroll down to Rules. By default, all reviewers can do everything.

Step 2: Select Manage rules.

  • For the screening stage, select reviewers from the drop-down menu and click Add to allocate the reviewer to "All studies must be screened by" or "Conflicts can be resolved by". Note that the reviewers can vary between each area.

  • For the extraction stage, select reviewers from the drop-down menu and click Add to allocate the reviewer to "All studies must be extracted by" or "Consensus can be resolved by". Only reviewers in the "must extract" group can act as the first reviewer for either quality assessment or extraction. Likewise, only members of the "resolve consensus" group will be able to perform the consensus step for either quality assessment or extraction.

Quality assessment or data extraction: Assign reviewers directly by selecting Manage reviewers for each study from the Included tab. This will open a dialog window that allows you to assign a reviewer for quality assessment and extraction on the study.

While you can only assign a reviewer once and only the first reviewer is permitted to customise the extraction form, it is possible to switch a reviewer throughout the assessment or extraction process. In this case, you will be prompted to start a new form or keep the existing form data.
